We just want to let everyone know that we’re in the process of moving our site to a new web host on the 10th and 11th of November. We’ve been having a number of issues with our current setup, including emails not always arriving at their destination. In preparation for the release of 1.0, we’re working to resolve this to ensure a smooth launch.

So if the site is unresponsive when you visit, just give us a few hours and we’ll be back.

If you’re reading this page, and have visited our site at any point over the last year, you’ve know doubt noticed the new design. And if you’re reading this page... well you’ve no doubt picked up on the fact that we now have a blog. Why you ask? A couple of reasons...

1) It was time for a facelift on the web site. We’d had the previous design for some time, and it needed to be updated. We especially wanted to go with something a little less “stark”.

2) The reason for the Blog was to enable us to keep you better informed about how development, especially on Odysseus, is proceeding. We initially tried a mailing list... but we had so many returned emails, due to spam filtering, that we didn’t feel it was a viable way of keeping everyone updated. The Forums certainly do well as a support tool. However, as a general means of providing updates... the Forums leave a lot to be desired. Specifically, a person has to see the exact post containing relevant news for the Forums to be effective.

So that brings us to here... new look... new Blog. Hopefully the look will be a little less “stark”. And the Blog will serve as the central place to keep up with the latest developments (pun intended) here at Infinity.
