I find the boldface hard to spot, and prefer underlining. Also, in Eudora the mailboxes with new mail in them would automatically open, Odx. doesn't. I prefer the Eudora approach.
I don't want mailboxes all opening by themselves, even as tabs. However, I do agree that boxes with mail in them need better highlighting - bold and underlining, perhaps? Also folders containing boxes with unread mail need to be highlighted.
For information purposes, Eudora Mac's behavior concerning the display of mailboxes with unread mail is governed by an X-setting:
<x-eudora-setting:9602>
Style to use for mailboxes with unread mail. Bold=1, italics=2,
Underline=4. Add numbers for combinations of styles.
To implement, paste "<x-eudora-setting:9602>" into a Eudora message and doubleclick.
I hope that Odx will eventually provide the flexibility and customization available with X-settings on Mac Eudora, albeit in a more convenient interface.
